We have an exciting opening for a Banquet Server in our Event Services team at Freighters and the Hilton Double Tree Hotel in Port Huron, MI.
Responsibilities will include:
o Preparing and serving large plated dinners, buffets and appetizers for our Event Services team.
o Visually inspecting dishes to meet the Perfect Plate and Drinks presentation requirements.
o Greeting and serving guests to the Commit to the Mitt exceptional service standard.
o Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas at all times.
o Handle guest inquires and complaints with friendly service and efficient response time.
Our ideal candidates will possess the following skills and characteristics:
o Effective and Friendly Communicator.
o Thrives and enjoys working in a team atmosphere.
o Flexible schedule and weekend work availability.
o Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year restaurant experience.
o Must be at least 18 years of age to meet local and legal minimum age requirements to serve Alcoholic Beverages.
